RESCUE MISSION work in partnership with local community leaders and vetted community-based organisations as active partners of change by strengthening their capacities to address systemic and structural causes of poverty and depravity in all contexts, including during conflict and emergencies. ERADICATING POVERTY
RESCUE MISSION support the Millennium Development Goals, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which came into force with an agreement to shape all our destinies and radically change the way we tackle poverty and inequality. We believe that the agreement should not just be a piece of paper but set of actions to empower communities to be self-sustaining. We are fighting against poverty through a number of ways.
Education is a fundamental right of every child as it plays an important role in promoting self-worth, economic growth and reducing poverty and child labour. Yet millions of children around the world are being denied the access to basic education that would give them a decent start in life. We are making sure 24,000 children from all backgrounds have access to quality education to develop their personality, talents and mental and physical abilities to their fullest potential.
ACCESS TO EDUCATION
The right to health guarantees a system of health and access to health care and living conditions that enable every person to be healthy. Unfortunately, more than 2 billion people, mainly from the poorest countries do not have access to medical care and extra 1 billion cannot afford medical care. We are improving access to health services in the disregarded communities by ensuring that our team of health professionals from local communities and abroad provide the right to quality care.

PETITIONING & ADVOCACY
RESCUE MISSION believe that influencing decisions within political, economic, and social systems and institutions is key to mobilizing people and resources for development.
We undertake petitioning and advocacy to influence policy and legislations at the national, regional and international levels to educate government officials and the public.
We amplify the voices of the poorest through media campaigns, public speaking, commissioning and publishing of research findings to connect decision makers, petition governments to the excruciating experiences of marginalised people.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
We believe that developing the leadership of community leaders and heads of individual families builds that capacity for communities to become independent and self-sustaining.
